The Dedicated Staff of Cape Cod Animal Hospital

Front  Staff - Vet Techs - Kennel Crew

Front Staff:

Claire

Is a wash-a- shore some 30 years ago. Joined the practice in the year 2001. She became the office manager in 2005. Hobbies include playing computer games, breeding Shih Tzu and enjoys pet sitting. Then there is her laugh and bright pink lipstick.

Ann Marie

After being a stay at home mom for over 20 years Ann Marie is thoroughly enjoying returning to the work force and being a member of the Cape Cod Animal Hospital team. In her leisure time Ann Marie enjoys "Family Fun Days" and catering to her 3 dogs.

Shawn

My name is Shawn Delia Brewer. I have enjoyed the company of animals since before I could walk and have worked with animals for almost just as long. It all started helping out at my grandmother's farm during the summers, then volunteering at the MSPCA, and eventually continuing my passion of caring for animals by working here at Cape Cod Animal Hospital. My extended family so far includes two cats, a dog, and a chinchilla and I am sure there are much more to come.

Mary

If she isn't spending time with her many cats, Mary enjoys cat sitting. Mary has worked at the front desk of the Cape Cod Animal Hospital for several years.

Donna

I'm Donna Bongarzone and I have recently moved to the Cape from the South Shore. I have always grown up with pets and rode when I was younger.  While raising my children, we always had some sort of pet running around, from guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, reptiles, a cat and dogs. My two kids are now grown and off on their own and now I'm taking care of my two dogs rescued from the south, Dixie and Frankie. Before coming to Cape Cod Animal Hospital to work I had been dog walking and pet sitting, and also floral design. So, right now I'm enjoying learning my way around the Cape and getting to know people.
Aissa Catania

Newly arrived from the Sunshine State of Florida, enjoying the wonderful weather of Cape Cod. I've been in the veterinary field for 3 years as a receptionist, now slowly transitioning to becoming a  technician ( fingers crossed). Been happily married to Michael Catania for 2 years with 2 dogs "Boomer" and "Oliver" who live with my parents in South Carolina at the moment. (MISS YOU PUPPIES!!!!) It's been a privilege getting to know everyone at the Cape Cod Animal Hospital. The staff is very kind, and welcomed me without hesitation. I guess there's a bit of sunshine on the Cape as well.

Vet Techs:

Melissa Allison

I have been a Cape Cod Animal Hospital staff member since December of 2001. I currently live with my family and Golden Retriver, Bodhi in Barnstable. Having grown up on the Cape I enjoy being around the water with my family and friends.

Kennel Crew:

Katie

My name is Katie McCarthy. I have been with Cape Cod Animal Hospital since 2004. I enjoy working here. I love and adore my dog cookie. One of the things that we love is walking through nature trails.

Benjamin

I worked as an adoption counselor at the Central Vermont Humane Society, and have some background in Veterinary Assistance. I have one dog "The Dude" who I adopted from the MSPCA/Cape age 5, American Bull Dog Mix, and I live in Sandwich, which is where I grew up.

Rhiannon

I have been a member of the kennel staff at Cape Cod Animal Hospital for six years, since July of 2004 to be precise.  I had been employed previously at another animal hospital for several months. I am tremendously fond of working with and caring for animals, critters of all shape and sizes and all fur types. (or lack there of). I have a spry Italian Greyhound; he is appropriatly named Ares.

Alyssa Smith

i was born in and raised in Southern California. I have loved working with animals since I was very young and hope to do so for the rest of my  life. My family and I have owned several pets over the years but currently we have a betta fish named "Biggie". I am in school studying psychology and biology. Working here at Cape Cod Animal hospital has been a wonderful experience and most definitely the best job I ever had.

Jean is my Master

Jean says she is the Landscape Maintenance person at Cape Cod animal Hospital but she really is a Master Gardner. She keeps the grounds neat, attractive and safe. In summer you can usually find her weeding flower bed or pruning shrubs, in the winter she shovels snow in the walkways and sand areas that need it. now you know why cape Cod Animal Hospital always looks so good!
